75XD9405 - YouTube Issues

Hi All,

 

I have an issue where I cannot activate voice search via the remote on YouTube alongside 4k videos just not playing.

 

The voice search works everywhere else, just not on YouTube.

 

With the 4k videos they start to play and then freeze whilst the audio continues.

 

I have tried troubleshooting with support - Have tried 13 odd different things with no success including factory reset, clearing cache and stored data, resyncing the remote, removing updates and then adding them back in.

 

Still have the issue.

 

I'm on the latest firmware.

 

Given my parents heavily rely on voice search its an imperative function that needs to work.

 

Other than that I love the tv and have no complaints.

 

Already lodged a case but haven't heard back when someone said they would.

 

Any advice?

Hi Snaeem155, have you tried removing the batteries and pressing the power button of the remote for 10 seconds? The 4K videos seems to be an internet speed issue, try a hotspot from your mobile, that should confirm. HannahEd01
