Sony ILCE-7M4 overheat when on 1080p via HDMI

I have a Sony alpha 7 iv that I purchased last year, having played about with the settings for hours it seems to overheat when I have it connected to HDMI on 1080p and the internal recording is set to on after about an hour of use ( we use it for webinars and streaming).  When I have it on 4k output it does not overheat but the frame rate (15fps) is poor and watching the videos back makes it look jumpy.  I can't seem to turn the option off for internal recording, though I'm now wondering if it is the processing down to 1080p that is causing the heat issues. Can anyone give me a setting suggestion that will prevent this overheat?

Streaming software we use only records in 1080p 30fps, so I really don't need to go higher than that.

Thanks

Hey @GJHawkins

Does the camera shutdown or give you any error messages when it over heat?

Can you make sure it's up-to-date according to this firmware: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/e-mount-body-ilce-7-series/ilce-7m4/software/00288927

I've just updated it from 2.00 to 3.01 will see if that helps.
