IR Remote Works strangely

Hi,

I have Sony A7r 2.Does anyone know ,Why IR-Remote does not take still photos, when is the front of the viewfinder is an obstacle? IR shutter is: gentLED-shutterPLUS Sony.

Problem when the camera is in Gimbal.
