A7II panorama

Recently bought an A7II, probably never use it to take a panorama, but hey who knows. 

So gone in to the settings to take a panorama and it would appear I can only take a panorama in Landscape mode. This leaves me with a picture three miles wide & 4 inches high (slight exageration) ! Is there any way I can orientate the camera portrait and do a horizontal panorama ? If I turn the camera portrait it wants me to move the camera vertically. OK if I am stood next to the eifel tower, no good for normal panoramas,

Hi Normski4ash,

Unfortunately it's not possible to take your panaroma photos vertically using the panorama function and then have it made into a horizontal panorama by your camera.

Of course you could combine them later in Photoshop or other editing software, but where's the fun in that?

In panorama mode use front wheel to set way to make photo. In my camera it works.
