Reprogram STR-DN840 remote control for Samsung TV

How can I reprogram the "TV Input ON/Off" buttons on the remote control(RM-AAU169) to control my Samsung TV(32D6530)?

I have successfully reprogrammed the similar buttons on the remote control(RMT-D246P) of my Sony DVD Recorder(RDR-HXD1070). There were instructions in the Sony Manual.

Hi there

As far as im aware, the RMAAU0169 is not a programmable remote control, therefore no codes exist. You can only assign/re-assign the input buttons. As a suggestion, try turning on Anynet+ on your Samsung TV (if not already on), as it may utilise the HDMI-CEC functions.
