Removing "Recorder 1 (HDD/DVD) etc" from TV display

Hi, my Bravia TV KDL-20S3000 is displaying the following in the top left hand corner whenever my DVD HXD890 is in use -

Recorder 1 (HDD/DVD)

symbol 4

1080i/50

This started a few days ago and despite many hours of trying I can't find a way of getting rid of it. I even tried a reset of the DVD player but that has made no difference. Any ideas how I can resolve this?

you should just press once or twice the info button on the tv remote till the writing disappear (at the first push it may appear the clock on the right bottom side of the screen, but it depend on the tv model).
