Hi there

I would strongly recommend that you go for the "wired" solution (ie ethernet cable) instead of wireless - considering that in your original post, you said that the Bluray player is only a few meters away from the router. You will get a much more stable and consitant connection.

If you want to persist with the wireless setup, can you describe the steps to connect it to your network. Im just trying to estabilish at what point is it failing. Are you inputting wireless password in correctly?

Cheers

Hi,

I can't get my new Sony BDP-S790 Blu-ray Disc Player to connect to my Sky Broadband Hub. The BDP-S790 sees the hub on the network list with good signal strength (it is only a few metres away) and I have tried with and without security - it just won't connect. I have loads of other devices (laptops / smartphones / etc) connected to the hub but can't get the sony to connect. Does anyone have any ideas please?
