Wireless back speakers

Hi everyone!

I have a sony ht-ct 290 soundbar. Can i connect wireless background speakers to it and wich one? Thanks for the answers

I have searched the manual for this product:-

It mentions ‘rear’ 8 times, but none of them are in the context of rear speakers.

And there are anyway no connection points that you could use for these (though the same is true of my LG GX soundbar which can drive a pair of rears wirelessly. But that is extensively covered in its manual, and there is not a sniff of anything like that here).

However, the manual does mention ‘surround’ four times, three of them in the context of the virtual surround feature the soundbar has, so you might want to explore that.

I agree with @royabrown2

This isn't one of the models that support external (additional) speakers. I believe only the HT-ZF9 has this feature.
