Sony STR-BN1080 and Toshiba 49u2963db TV Issues

Hi all, I have managed to get my Sony amp (STR DN108) working well now with my Sky Q etc and my Tosihba 49u2963db TV all working a treat and a great sound!!

but..

I came downstairs this morning, turned on the Sky Q box and the amp came out of standby (great) then I turned the TV on but I got no HDMI signal to the TV, the amp was working and playing Skyq sounds etc but nothing on the TV, I changed inputs on the TV but nothing..

I have the TV linked via an 8K HDMI cable in to the ARCe hdmi output of the Sony amp an in to the HDMI2 (ARC) of the TV all was working fine yesterday.

The only way I seemed to be able to fix this is go in to the TV and change the HDMI setting for the AMP channel to Standard and NOT enhanced then it kicked in but then I turned it back to enhanced and all was working too..

It seems something is changing on boot up, is it to do with ARC, HDMI settings, something else.. any help appreciated

Do you have the latest software version installed on your amp (M41.R.0516)?

Yes upgraded to latest version when the amp arrived

Maybe try disabling Control for HDMI/Bravia Sync on both and then turn it back on. Or disconnect everything and unplug them from the wall for a few minutes (if you haven't already).
