    <description>It was the same type of reply I got a few years back.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I spent almost £1000 on a multiroom / app controlled system that was made worthless within months. Said at the time I would never buy anything “Sony” again and have gone years without doing this. Can you imagine the uproar if Sonos or any worthwhile electrical company had done similar!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I will not marked this question as answered, because it is not.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Been a few yes since Sony stopped multiroom / app support for the star-dn1050, which was less than 18 months old and within weeks of buying a new str-dn1080; Turned my less than two year old receiver into a worthless lump of plastic overnight..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Paid a lot of money and given recommendation &amp;nbsp;since on hi-if and TVs without a penny going to Sony and see no reason to ever buy a Sony product again.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
