Loss of sound BDV E370

New to the community

i have a BDV E370 sound system which I have been very happy with for a number of years.

I changed some settings last week so I could enjoy home cinema with Netflix as well as my sky box. Everything worked ok.

I tried to switch on this week, and could get no sound out on any input such as TV, FM radio etc., but a DVD worked fine with usual surrounding sound.

tried to look at the audio settings on the player and they have changed from what I saw last week or are in the manual. For instance no option to set the volumes for individual speakers.

the remote also seems very slow and unresponsive. Any ideas anyone?

Hi,

Please disconnect the device from power for some minute and check if sound comes back afterwards.

I’ve tried that plus a factory reset with no luck, thanks for your advice though

If you can't get sound even after a reset, It could be worth having an engineer check the unit: https://locator.sony/en_GB/servicecenters
