problems updating firmware on a STR-DN1040

im having problems updating the firmware on my Sony STR-DN1040 Av receiver.

it keeps saying no need to update , but it does , the firmware on sony`s website is a lot newer than the receiver , i can see it says there is a option to download the update to a usb flash drive , but i cannot find the link to actually download it and how to install it from the drive ?

Can anyone help please?

Hi,

The update can only be updated over the internet connection. There's no download version.

Please make sure that your receiver is connected via Ethernet cable to the internet.
