STR-DN1080 Not being detected by projector

Hi,

Just purchased as upgrade. Connected to system but Infocus projector not detecting or not showing picture / sound simply home screen. Take amp out and put hardware direct all fine. Had some brief spurts of sound only then cutting out while going through the projector menu. Tried reset, on/off and unplugging.

Any thoughts much appreciated

Can you tell us how everything is currently connected and whether or not you tried another projector/TV/display to test out the receiver?

think issue is inability to talk to older projector. Amp returned
