Optimum Sound & Picture Settings (Sony HT ZF9 paired with Bravia KD55X7053)

Hi all,

First post so go easy on me (and yes I've already had a search around existing posts and online generally, to which I've found much contradiction.

I know there's probably best settings for each requirement i.e. PS4 Pro, Sky Q, film, sport etc, but generally what is the best all round? What setting should be on/off and what % should the contrast and sharpness etc be? The soundbar is currently connected to the TV via a decent HDMI cable in the eARC slot. Sky+ & PS4 PRO are then in HDMI 1 & 2 in the soundbar.

How do I know we're viewing something in 4K? How do I know if we're listening in Dolby Atmos (the soundbar display tends to just say 2.0ch 40hz).

We've invested in a new setup and it kills me to think I'm not getting the most out of it.

* Rear speakers are on order

* Sky Q due to be installed next week
