BDV-E4100 Stopped working completely

I have the BDV-E4100 and it has stopped working.

Nothing appears on the TV.

I have attempted to press the function button contiuously but get nothing. I have tried to reset the screen parimeters by pressing the play and vol - button but still nothing.

The LED screen on the blu ray player shows: BD/DVD, the solid white light underneath pulses and wont change. The dick dray opens but doesnt close. when you press the power button on either the remote or blu ray stdby is displayed and the white light flashes after a while it then switches off.

When you press buttons on the remote the solid white light flashes but does nothing else..

I have tried new HDMI and tryied to reset using the play and vol - button but nothing works.

we had it about a year and now it just given up 😞

Hi abawaden,

It sounds like a technical defect unfortunately.

I would recommend to send it to a repair centre.
