Disable TV Output while casting

Hi All

I’ve tried searching for this all over and haven’t managed to find anything at all so would appreciate any assistance if anyone knows.

Is it possible to disable HDMI output when using chromecast on an STR-DN1080? I have a nicely working setup with arc where I can operate everything through my Apple TV, but now when I try and cast some music to the receiver it wakes up both the TV and the Apple TV as well. I’m only listening to music so don’t need them on - is it possible to switch the Chromecast to a ‘listen’ channel like you can with other inputs such as CD?

Hi GM-111,

I'm afraid, to my knowledge this isn't possible.

But there might be one option to try: If you disable CEC (HDMI-control) there's a chance that other devices doesn't start.
