SONY STR-DN1080 - FUZZY SCREEN with 4k tv upon changing display or volume via PC

Hello,

issue with my new STR-1080, TV source (netflix/filmon etc) comes from PC which has 4k graphics card, also have new 55'' Sony KD-55XG8096 4k tv, tv worked fine last week with old sony av-receiver..

I also upgraded cables to high quality 8k ready.

I have PC plugged in to the sat-catv hdmi port.

So, all works well most of the time, but when change channel, minimise screen or change volume, the screen goes black for a second, then followed by a digital multi-coloured snowy screen.

Could the new STR-1080 av-receiver be faulty? This is my main conclusion at moment.

The only other potential issue is with graphics card, but it worked fine on old Sony av-receiver last week.

Have you tried using the other input ports(Video 1, Game, etc.).

It's also a good idea to make sure that the amp is up to date, as well as the TV of course.

Could you also share a picture of this snowy multi-coloured screen?
