BDV-N7200W rear speakers no longer working

Hi. I've had this system for a couple of years but last week the rear speakers stopped working. The light on the box that they connect to is red. I am not sure how to troubleshoot it as I cannot access any menus on the main system - after the blue ray logo disappears I just see swirling coloured lines. Is there a way to reset the system?

If the home menu can't be accessed, it's not possible to reset or update the system. If unplugging it for a while doesn't help, I'd suggest seeking help from an authorised service centre:
