Hello Sony kd65ag9 tv connected to Yamaha rxa1050 amp all works well until we stream content then tv is not seeing amp tried all settings to no avail ok with but youview box and Sony blu Ray player tv connected with hdmi earl cable

Hi,

Could be related to the audio format of the streamed content. Please check if sound will be played when you set the digital out of the TV to PCM.

Hi Owen,

Can you please disconnect all the other HDMI devices and try again with only the Yamaha connected to the TV?

If still no sound please try a different cable (please use high quality cables).

Hi no improvement but have not tried a different cable yet will endeavour to get a cable to test soon thanks owen
