DAV-IS10 - No TV sound (please don't laugh!)

Yes - not the newest of Sony products but I had boxes in storage for YEARS and on emptying them found my lovely DAV-IS10 system which I hardly used. I have donated this to my mum and dad with promises of a great listening experience. When I had this in my flat years ago I could get DVD sound via the speakers and also TV sound when viewing terrestrial programs

Have connected via HDMI and red/white audio cables and can get crystal DVD sound and picture. But I cannot work out for the life of me how to get TV sound via the LG TV. Any thoughts? Driving me bananas!

Mmmm, where did you connected the red and white cable on the tv? Don't know about G (and you didn't specify the model) but Sony's tv do not have any analog output apart headphone....
