HT-RT5 unrecognised speaker detected

After having a relatively fault free experience of the RT5 recently, I came home after a few days away and noticed the sound was very tinny and hollow. I then noticed the subwoofer has a red light. Doing a sound test, all speakers emit the sound apart from the sub.

I did a full reset and during the setup the on screen menu shows all 4 speakers but the Sub has a ? against the graphic and the error 'unrecognised speaker detected' is displayed. The OK button is greyed out. I tried another reset and the same result.

Any idea what the problem could be?

I am having exactly same issue with my HT-RT5 Issue . SUBWOOFER says "Unrecognized speaker detected Check whether the speaker is turned on " I tried all options of resetting it but no luck. Please suggest.
