Home Theatre System is making a loud buzzing/whirring sound

My home cinema system is making a really loud buzzing noise when switched on suddenly. It hasn’t done this before but in the last 2 days it won’t stop

the buzzing is really loud when I first switch it on then after about 5minutes it suddenly goes quieter (but still audible over music)

its almost sounds like a faulty dvd is being played but there is no disc in there and never has been

I’m not sure what has caused it and really don’t know what to do - any suggestions?
