KDL-32W706B BBC I player failure

My KDL-32W706B TV keeps failng on the BBC I Player. I get the message "internet download failed because content size exceeds system memory". I first had this problem in my last home and put it down to the low internet speed (7-8mbs). After moving to my new home with a faster connection the problem had gone, but has returned. The BBC say they are aware of this, but has there been any update on the cause?

Hi @colrop, welcome to the Community.

There is a discussion elsewhere on this with others having the same issue, which you may want to add your voice to.

As yet, we have no indication of a likely resolution date. In the past, the issue has been fixed by the BBC, and as such it's probably a good idea to keep an eye on the iPlayer website.
