Optical Sound from Bravia tuner

I have weird problem. At certain times, the optical sound feed to my sound bar cuts out.

The TV's own sound is fine.

If I switch to a PVR (with its own tuner) the sound is restored.

If I switch to another Android box the sound is fine.

Only the optical feed, from the Bravia's tuner, is affected. It is temporary - the next day, it will work again - until it cuts out again.

Further info - this cut out nearly always happens at a change in programme - not during a programme.

Any ideas?

It sounds like this could be an issue with the tuner or tv set itself - so I think your best bet is to contact Support for further assistance with this issue (details here).
