&lt;P&gt;It sounds like this could be an issue with the tuner or tv set itself - so I think your best bet is to contact Support for further assistance with this issue (details &lt;A href="http://services.sony.co.uk/supportmvc/en/Contact/Email" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt;).&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Optical Sound from Bravia tuner</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have weird problem. At certain times, the optical sound feed to my sound bar cuts out.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The TV's own sound is fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I switch to a PVR (with its own tuner) the sound is restored.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I switch to another Android box the sound is fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Only the optical feed, from the Bravia's tuner, is affected. It is temporary - the next day, it will work again - until it cuts out again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Further info - this cut out nearly always happens at a change in programme - not during a programme.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
