KDL-32EX713 how to wirelessly connect to PC?

I have a 2011 Sony Bravia tv KDL-32EX713, and I need to know how to connect this wirelessly to my upstairs PC? Is there a separate USB or HDMI device I need to purchase?

In particular I want to view/stream BBC iPlayer to the tv and have no idea how to go about it.

Hi there

I note that your model TV has ceased to support BBC iPlayer since September 2016 - hence the reason why you want to stream iPlayer to the TV from your PC.

Your best bet is to purchase the Amazon Fire TV Stick:
