Amazon Prime streaming

I have a Sony Smart TV model KDL 42W653 and apparently, contrary to what I had thought, is not capable of streaming Amazon Prime video. There is a Amazon Video App available when all the Apps are up on the screen but apparently that's not the one. Is this so?

Unfortunately your TV model is not one that Amazon Prime supports. Two suggestions I have:

Contact Amazon to find out why this is or if they will ever create an app for your model TV
Purchase the Amazon Fire TV Stick HERE - currently £32.99

Thankd for that suggestion but I only have one USB port on my Sony TV and that is taken up with a high capacity USB stick.

Your Welcome - Althought the Amazon Fire TV Stick plugs into a HDMI port on the TV and not a USB port. To be honest, I wouldnt put it past Amazon to not support various models of TVs in the hopes that people purchase thier products! (the cynical me)

Yes, stupid me. Did some research and realised my mistake in that an HDMI port is used and not USB.
