kdl-40hx853 Power Indicator

Hello,

I am very pleased with my recent purchase of a kdl-40hx853.

I'd like to disable the Power Indicator LED on the front on the TV, I cant see the option anywhere, does anybody know if that is possible or how to request it as a feature?

Hi,

if you mean the red standby light then theres a on/off button on the right hand side of the set.

Thank you for the reply, but it is the green power indicator when the TV is on that I would like to disable.

I can tell when the TV is on and I think the border of the TV would look cleaner without the LED on.
