topic W654: a way to check actual refresh rate? in Other TVs

Is there a hidden feature that shows the actual refresh rate the TV is running at?

I'm trying to decide if a lack of smoothness I see is about a mismatch between the frame rate and refresh rate. The info popup shows 1080p/24, but I'm not sure if that's the actual TV refresh rate or just the input signal, and I don't know if it's 24.000 or 23.976.

Hi there

I dont think there is a way to check the frame rate. Sometimes connecting devices may be able to display it though.

If you have Scene Select = Cinema AND Picture Mode = Cinema, I believe this forces 24p frame rate. Try Picture Mode = Cinema 2 (This may assist).

Cheers

Thanks.

I'll play with it some more, but seeing /24 does suggest the monitor is at least aware of the input signal rate.
