Netflix not available on Sony Bravia KDL-32CX523

I have just discovered that there is no Netflix option on my Sony Bravia KDL-32CX523. We bought it March 2012 (I think). Is there any way we can watch netflix natively on it or do we need to go through an external device?

unfortunately its not available on that device. Its on all their new Blu-ray players seemingly http://www.sony.co.uk/hub/blu-ray-disc-player

Hi there

Simply put, device models that are PRE-2012 will not get Netflix. There are technical reasons for this (if you want to know more, use the search facility on these forums). However, I will point you to this FAQ -

I have the Sony Bravia KDL-46EX524 I was having the same problem in the UK so I bought the £30 Google Chromecast and it has solved the problem with Netflix. A great gadget and easy to install and use. http://tinyurl.com/oew36pu
