Possibility of backlight. Or maybe sometype of power inverter. However, I would unplug the TV from the wall for a while, then plug it in again, as this may clear some problems if it isnt a hardware fault.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style=";"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style=";"&gt;If it doesnt fix it, you have 1 of a couple of options&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style=";"&gt;1 - Contact a Sony repair center and find out the cost of repair.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style=";"&gt;2 - Im going to assume though that the cost of repair will be un-economical to fix, your best bet is to replace the TV.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style=";"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style=";"&gt;Hope that helps&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
