Can't get Miracast, NFC or Bluetooth connections to KDL-46W905A

I am summarily failing to screen mirror from a couple of Android devices to the KDL-46W905A. The phone and tablet see the TV, but nothing happens on the TV when I try to connect to it; it just hangs on 'Waiting for connection from Wi-Fi device'.
Equally, I can't get either of them to pair with the TV via Bluetooth.

Nor can I get NFC to work. My devices collect the Sony tags, but nothing else happens.

Please help here! My smart TV is significantly less smart than I was hoping. 😞

Hi there

In regards to this and your other post. If you havn't done so already,

ensure that you have the latest firmware installed
perform a factory reset of the TV

Hi. Thanks for the reply. The firmware was update anyway, but I have reset to factory settings, and it's still happening. Any other possibilities?

No, not really. I ended up getting a Chromecast...
