Recently purchased two of these TV's from Argos in York. I tuned them both to the Yorkshire area and all channels work fine. However if I turn the TV's off and use them a day or two later, the region has changed from Yorkshire to North East with the result that some of the channels don't work. I will be returning these TV's back to Argos and swapping them for a different TV. I certainly won't be purchasing Sony ever again.

Have you tried turning OFF "Auto Service Update" to see if that resolves your problem? See page 34 of the manual : HERE
