How do you uninstall skype?

I foolishly logged into skype on my bravia tv without realising I needed a sony webcam not a usb webcam. Now i have to wait while skype logs in everytime I switch on the tv. Anyone know how to stop skype from signing in?

Just do a factory reset on the device or delete personal information and it will scrub any info you have entered.

I tried to search for relalted article on doing this online but I can't find any. I would suggest a factory reset too.

I am not sure a factory reset will help, cause I did that just recently and was surpriced by this didn't affect my Picasa and Youtube auto sign in's.

With out knowing anything about the Skype app, I'll just suggest a sign out if possible, and then it hopefully should leave you signed out next time you switch the TV on.

Very simple way:

-login skype from your computer

- change the password

- solved!

i'm not sure changing password from your computer will help, because skype on your tv will still try to login and you will have to wait for it.

There is no OPTION in Skype for Sony SEN so you can set the way your computer does...

This is still one of many things Sony needs to update...

Also you can't remove an app or add............
