topic Help in getting surround sound from my system? in Other TVs https://community.sony.se/t5/other-tvs/help-in-getting-surround-sound-from-my-system/m-p/176776#M14979 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>Hi, I have just bought a Bravia KDL 40 EX503 and Sony BDPS370 - absolutely fantastic, but I am having problems connecting. </P><P>I have Sony STR-DA 1200ES AV receiver and Sony DVD recorder RDR DX D860.</P><P>I have not used HDMI before, but bought 3 new cables and connected the BD and RDR into the 2 HDMI inputs on back of AV amp with 2 of these leads (inputs say DVD and other TV/sat) and last HDMI cable from HDMI monitor output on back of amp&nbsp; to TV input.
