UWA-BR100 WiFi Adapter and Bravia KDL-32EX401 - TV Does Not See WiFi Adapter

Hi guys,

I just bought a UWA-BR100 USB WiFi Adapter for my Bravia KDL-32EX401 TV. It is listed as compatible on http://www.sony.co.uk/product/tpa-other-tv-accessories/uwa-br100/#pageType=Compatibles

However, when I plug the WiFi Adapter into my TV, I don't see any options for configuration - it doesn't seem to recognize the fact that I've plugged in the adapter. I've looked all through the settings options.

I have turned the TV on and off, unplugged the TV from the mains power, restored Factory Settings and made sure I was on the latest firmware.

Is there something I'm missing?

I spoke with Sony directly, and it seems the KDL-32EX401 is not compatible with the UWA-BR100, and the web page is incorrect.

The web team have been notified of the error.

I shall be returning the WiFi Adapter.

Bad luck Markcub. Have you considered HomePlugs? You should have better luck using these.
