Can I still get android updates if I root my Xperia Tablet Z?

I'm considering rooting my xperia z tablet to get rid of some bloatware and install some apps that require rooting.

I'm still going to use the stock Xperia Z rom.. but I wanted to know if I will be able to still update the rom if new Sony updates come out in the future.

as long as you don't unlock the bootloader you should be able to get updates.

is there a way to check if my bootloader is still locked or not?

I havnt received any update to 4.3 yet
