    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi mick62,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The quick answer is probably yes, but there are other considerations.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Your model has a max supported RAM of 2GB and you would need to upgrade to this in order achieve acceptable performance. Win 7 is less memory hungry than Vista and some people report that Win 7 will run on 1GB RAM - I am somewhat sceptical out that claim.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A major problem will be finding drivers that will work with your hardware. There is no Sony support provided for this model under Vista, let alone Win 7.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You will also lose all of the functions provided by the Sony utilities - Fn keys etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Your call, but I would stick with XP.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Rich&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
