Mouse on Vista/ Camera on Vista

HI. This is my second VAIO. Its an FE41Z and I'm real happy with it.However i am getting problems with mice. Though they work, suddenly the pointer just shoots to the side of the screen. This has been happening with several mice. I am running Windows VISTA. Has anyone had this problem??

Also the camera on my Vaio says it is being used by another program and i have to restart for it to work. Any solutions please. Thanks a million!!

Hi joesant and welcome to the forum.

To eliminate a mat problem try using the mouse on a plain sheet of white paper.

Also the camera on my Vaio says it is being used by another program and i have to restart for it to work. Any solutions please.

This is a known problem and Sony is working on a fix. You may have to be patient...

Thanks a lot. Guess I will have to be patient then and wait for the fix by sony for the camera to work every time.

As for the mouse, i tried but still the same problem. I will try and use another mouse and see if it is better. Thanks again.

I can't help you with the mouse problem unfortunately, although you could try the below with that too...

This helped fix my inbuilt camera and thought I'd share in the hopes it might fix yours too.
