I am unable to get the TV to operate as an external monitor with the laptop screen blacked out: each time I select FN +7 to select the correct setting: computer only; duplicate; extend; and projector only - and I select projector ony - the Samsung TV reports that the mode is not supported. </P><P></P><P>As I wish to view films on the external TV without that film being displayed on the laptop at the same time - it does not seem possible; I may add that I can use the settings for computer only; duplicate and extend without any issues.
