I vaguely remember reading an artical identifying a fault with some Sony Adapter/Chargers.

The adaptor that I have is VGP-AC19V24(for the VGN-FW31M)

The wire that comes out of the adaptor to the laptop is supported around where it comes out of the adaptor.

This has broken to the extent of showing the internal.

I do not believe that this is directly due to wear and tear.

I have never had this issue with previous Sony adapters

Does anyone know if this has been an issue with some adapters
