I need to download a driver for my laptop's built in motion eye webcam? I'm not the most confident user.

Hi Leola1965,

Assuming that you are using the original Vista operating system or have upgraded to Windows 7 then the web cam driver is part of the operating system. There is no Sony specific driver for your model.

Can you give us further details of why you need a driver download?

Is the camera working with any software such as Windows Live Messenger, Skype or ArcSoft WebCam Companion?

Is the camera listed in Device Manager under Imaging Devices, and if so are there any warnings or problems listed? To access Device Manager click Start > Control Panel and then double click on Device Manager.

Hopefully given further information someone will be able to help.

Hi there,

My webcam stopped working recently (same problem as this user)

Ever since I have owned the laptop it has not worked with MSN, however now it does not work at all - full stop.

It ALWAYS worked with the arcsoft software now it cannot find it?

Need help please
