Perhaps I can prevail further: the camera connection is a 14mm pin (yellow) into a socket for both audio and video. The PCV-W1G computer  has firewire as well as USB connections. That way you can record digitally for the future, but still play your older 8mm. It's a little bit more money, but you can pick them up pretty cheaply now.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
