DVD-ROM problems on PCV-RZ322

I have a PCV-RZ322 and the DVD-ROM drive has just started playing up, it wont read anything does anyone know what it could be. It's the MATSHITA DVD-ROM SR-8588, If it can't be cured does anyone know for a replacement that will fit and keep in with the colour of the PC. It's just 13 months old, should have bought the extended warranty!!

Hi, have you tried a lens cleaner yet?

If not get a good one £10 or so should do it, (Its always good to have one anyway).

If its still broken, new ones are only £25 or so on Amazon and there not to hard to fit. not sure about the colour thing though.

The warranty would have cost you a hundred quid or so, in this case not really worth it,
