If Vaio's are like other laptops the password is stored on a non volatile chip.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Your only hope and I am not sure if it will help would be to reflash the Bios.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

Today I wanted to have a look to the Bios and it asks for a password that I don't have .       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had a same problem, and it happened that somehow bios was blocked, and my password wasn't valid, so I contacted VAIO support and they answered me right away. The catch was that bios locked itself somehow and unlock code was needed. VAIO support will send it to you free of charge if you send proof of purchase [eg. scanned bill].&lt;BR /&gt;On the other hand, there is nothing in bios worth of looking at, it is very stripped kind of bios with no options to adjust [except boot priority, password, and nothing more I think...]&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;respect&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
