Need to wipe sony vaio VGN-AR7AI Major problems

Hi,Can anyone help, I need to completely wipe computer and reset as new, been into Dixons/Currys where bought from just over 2 yrs ago, (still under insurance with them), they never send to Sony engineer they do it themself in the shop then problems get worse.

I have lost sound, it now works slower than ever, could do with Manufactures CD to kick start everything.

Start your vaio and when you see the Vaio logo press the F10 key repeatedly..

This should start the recovery process using the hidden HDD recovery partition.

Then follow the recovery instructions to complete the process..

You will loose all personal data on your Vaio during the recovery process so make sure you back up anything you can't afford to loose..:smileywink:

You can also check it with Vaio Care if you already have it in your system. It might help you with such problem.
