Vaio update 5 will not install

Hi guys,

I cannot install update 5 on my Vaio. The installer gets so far then says that it cannot be installed. "The problem may be caused by McAfee anti-virus software."

I have used the uninstall programs from McAfee and have deleted all McAfee files/ programs from my computer. I am currently using Avast! as my anti-virus and was wondering if anyone else has had the same problems?

If anyone could help it would be much appreciated!
