topic Vaio Update on 29/12/12. in PCs & Accessories https://community.sony.se/t5/pcs-accessories/vaio-update-on-29-12-12/m-p/620151#M14378 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>I upgraded my o/s from VistaHome-32 to Win7Home-32 on my "VGN-FZ21Z" and only a day or so ago there was a request from the vaio update on my laptop, I clicked yes for the update to be installed. Now after startup of my vaio when I click say Google Chrome browser icon to load it takes an awful long time this is just initially and this applies to any program I try to load but after about 5 to 9 mins any program/software is easy to load.</P><P></P><P>I also tried to upgrade to Win8-Pro but it wouldn't load because of the "Sony Win8-Pro upgrade kit" unavailability for my vaio.</P><P></P><P>The main question is has the update from Sony affected the initial loading of any of the software? I think the update is for Vista and not Win7, how can I confirm this????
