Playmemories Home "Browser has stopped working"

Ever since the last update I cannot get Playmemories home to work on my PC using windows 10. I have uninstalled several times and re innitialised the program also but it just keeps coming up with "Browser has stoped and needs to close"

I've been through the sony support as suggested and they just blame it on windows/microsoft who in turn say they dont support 3rd party software (understandably)

Any one got any ideas what I can try next?
