Pioneer BD-RW BDR-TD04

I have this blu-ray drive in my Vaio and brought Godzilla to watch and wasn't recognised, purchased TDK BD-R to burn discs and likewise they weren't recognised. I've updated the firmware using what I found on Sony.com. No change.

What else can I try?

PS CDs and DVDs burn okay.

Did you find a solution? I have the same problem. Windows recognice the BD writer as just a DVD writer. Buring DVD works fine. When inserting a BD, windows doesn't detect the emdia as a BD.

No, not yet. Have used other devices for workaround
