VPCEC1C5E - Installing more than 8gb RAM?

Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone has installed more than 8gb RAM in a VPCEC1C5E? I'm currently running with 6gb, but thinking about picking up a 16gb kit while prices are low. Looking at a number of websites, the maximum appears to be 8gb, but I'm wondering whether more can be installed.

Everywhere I have seen gives 8GB as the maximum allowable.

Crucial are normally very good and guarantee compatibility, so if they and Sony say 8GB max, that would seem accurate.
